Accounts Payable Specialist

We're partnering with a well-established, privately held organization that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to its accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you'll own the full accounts payable cycle while working in a collaborative environment where your ideas and process improvements are valued. Responsibilities Manage the full‑cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and company credit card transactions Code invoices accurately and obtain appropriate approvals Process payments across multiple entities and bank accounts Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies Prepare and process annual 1099s Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation Assist with month‑end accounting activities as needed Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and internal controls Support the accounting team with additional projects as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of full‑cycle AP experience Experience with multiple entities and invoice coding Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Why Join This Team?
