Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain up-to-date client records in both written and electronic formats, ensuring compliance with all privacy regulations.

• Coordinate with partner agencies to provide comprehensive care and follow-up services for your clients.

• Conduct thorough consultations and collaborate regularly with other clinical professionals to develop integrated treatment plans.

• Write detailed case notes, evaluations, and assessments that guide treatment delivery and track client progress.

• Contribute to the formation of individual treatment plans (ITP), tailoring approaches to each client's unique needs.

• Support colleagues in interpreting psychometric assessments, interpreting their significance for treatment planning.

• Participate in supervision sessions, promoting professional growth and collaboration within the clinical environment.

• Attend team meetings and relevant trainings to foster a supportive and informed clinical network.

• Prepare for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting necessary research on individual issues prior to meetings.

• Engage in small group supervision sessions to enhance skills and share insights with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele served at Emotion Matters includes diverse groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. The counselor will possess the cultural competency to understand and address the unique needs of various populations in our community.

Qualifications\n

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative to interact effectively with clients and colleagues alike.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• A valid mental health license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) is mandatory per state regulations.

• Must have no history of Medical Malpractice Claims, as verified by a third party.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a community health setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual counseling practices is an asset.

• Certification in trauma-informed care or experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 52,000 to 105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
