Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that engage young adults, fostering connections and shared experiences among clients.

• Providing individualized therapy that addresses clients' specific thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while helping them develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals, ensuring the plans are actionable and resonate with their life circumstances.

• Monitoring client progress through assessments and continuous feedback, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools to measure outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on assisting young adults between the ages of 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and experience in virtual counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:
