We are seeking a Senior Development Director to spearhead our growth during this pivotal period. The ideal candidate will be an innovative strategist who is highly motivated with a profound passion for serving women and children in crisis situations. As a confident and visionary leader with a strong leadership style founded in your Christian faith, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to support our rapid growth and expansion. This position serves as a key member of our executive team, working closely with our board of directors, leading the development team, and developing positive relationships with volunteers, donors, community leaders, and other partnering with us in this mission.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven Excellence in leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver a clear strategic vision.
• Experience designing systems and strategies that support sustained growth.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor employees to maximize team effectiveness.
• Oversee a 12.5-million-dollar Capital Campaign Strategy and managing a Capitol Committee.
• Experience creating a major gifts program and soliciting major gifts.
• Experience overseeing the creation and implementation of the annual Communication strategy.
• Experience creating innovative donor engagement and solicitation strategies to grow a fundraising program.
• Proven ability to represent a faith-based organization at external events and meetings.
• The ability to manage your own donor portfolio while assisting the team in the oversight of their own portfolios.
• Experience working closely with a Board of Directors and an Executive team mobilizing them in their role in donor relations and leveraging their strengths and their networks.
• Strong leadership skills : ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal team members and external donors, volunteers, community members and residents.
• Experience in creating and implementing a fund development plan that meets or exceeds the annual budget requirements.
• Ability to develop and cultivate a team to work collaboratively and uphold Acres and Development Team core values.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field
• Nonprofit Fundraising professional with 3 plus years of progressive advancement/Development experience.
• Sensitivity to the needs of residents, staff, and volunteers from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
• Display willingness and desire to contribute to the growth and success of an organization, with the ultimate goal of bringing glory to God.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
