What you bring:

• Current, active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Experience with school-based OT services
• Background in home health and general healthcare settings considered a plus
• Expertise in developing and implementing strategies for fine and gross motor skills
• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt documentation and interventions to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
• Flexibility to provide services across different environments (classroom, therapy room, home as needed)

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to identify students' unique needs related to fine and gross motor skills
• Develop and implement effective OT interventions within school settings
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust care as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and family members
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and updating IEPs
• Provide consultation and training for school staff on therapeutic strategies
• Support transitions between school and home environments if required
• Uphold compliance with state and federal OT guidelines
