This position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while connecting with clients through our secure telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized remote therapy sessions with clients using secure telehealth technology, tailoring each session to the unique needs and circumstances of the client.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting measurable goals and adapting them as necessary based on client progress.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support as required, utilizing your comprehensive understanding of therapeutic techniques and crisis management.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic treatment approaches and continuity of care.

• Uphold the ethical and legal standards of the profession, demonstrating integrity in all client interactions and documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, and trauma. Iris Counseling Center serves a variety of demographics in the Frederick area and beyond, including underserved populations who may have limited access to mental health services. Your role will significantly impact their lives by providing essential therapeutic interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.

• Proven experience in providing therapy services, ideally in a remote or telehealth setting.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish rapport, trust, and empathy with clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing you to manage a full caseload effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
