Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs, preferences, and progress goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide psychoeducation on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower clients and their families.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic needs.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.

• Stay current with the latest research on mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic methodologies and approaches.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

• Engage in case consultations and participate actively in professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, striving to reduce stigma and promote understanding within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to issues such as depression and bipolar disorder. You will serve various groups, including individuals recovering from trauma, survivors of domestic abuse, and those experiencing homelessness. Your role will be critical in fostering resilience and sobriety as you aid clients in navigating their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
