Senior Accounting Clerk

Join Our Client's Dynamic Finance Team as a Senior Accounting Clerk Our client is looking to add a detail-oriented accounting professional to support a busy Accounts Payable function within a collaborative, evolving finance team. This person will help keep vendor payments moving accurately and on time, while assisting with day-to-day process support in a high-volume environment. Compensation: $26.00-$29.00/hour* *Listed not guaranteed – potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications, and internal equity and may be outside of this range. This is a contract-to-hire positions. Candidates must be local and available to work 2x week onsite. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, emphasizing precision, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines Enter and categorize vendor invoices within the ERP system with a keen eye for detail Facilitate payment runs through electronic platforms, ensuring prompt and accurate disbursements Act as the primary contact for vendors and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism Reconcile vendor statements and proactively resolve outstanding discrepancies Assist in month-end closing activities by meeting critical processing timelines Maintain rigorous internal controls and approval procedures to safeguard financial integrity Manage shared mailbox communications, ensuring timely responses to vendor questions Requirements 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience (full-cycle preferred) Experience working in an ERP environment Familiarity with electronic payment tools (Paymode or similar is a plus) Strong attention to detail and comfort handling high volume Clear communication style and a proactive follow-through approach Our Commitment to Inclusion & Belonging The Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
