Work Environment\n

This position operates in a fully remote capacity, catering to an outpatient setting that is both supportive and innovative. You will have the opportunity to interface directly with patients in the comfort of their own homes while utilizing advanced telehealth technology. Your daily schedule includes a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the understanding that occasional evening and weekend shifts will be required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and nature of mood disorder symptoms, developing a deep understanding of their unique challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s requirements.

• Provide education on mood disorders and treatment options to clients and their families, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans in response to evolving circumstances to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive care coordination and enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to consistently apply the latest practices in your therapeutic approach.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to continually refine clinical skills and approach.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and understanding of mood disorders while addressing any challenges they face.

Your primary focus will be on individuals coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
