Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, focusing on improving their mental health and achieving their personal goals.

• Facilitate deep discussions around emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships, fostering a supportive environment for clients to develop insight into their challenges.

• Utilize your clinical expertise to evaluate clients’ mental health status, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based methodologies.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, providing guidance and support in defining achievable personal goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of session notes and treatment progress, adhering to compliance standards while minimizing paperwork burdens with our administrative support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base consists of pre-screened individuals who exhibit low acuity mental health needs. This demographic reassurance allows mental health counselors to work with clients who are stable and ready to engage in constructive therapeutic processes. Qualifications\n

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• An independent license issued by the state of California, such as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Limited or provisional licenses are not applicable.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature, along with the ability to provide professional assessments and recommendations for treatment.

• Proficiency in digital tools and systems, including telehealth software for virtual counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience in telehealth services or counseling within diverse populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a clear understanding of client-centered therapeutic methodologies will enhance your effectiveness within our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
