Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify student needs related to emotional, social, and academic challenges.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that focus on issues such as grief, adjustment disorders, and coping skills.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and mental health professionals to develop and implement effective support strategies for students.

• Coordinate with community organizations to ensure comprehensive post-discharge services are available and accessible for students needing additional support.

• Educate families about various treatment options, resources, and coping strategies, aiding them in navigating their child’s mental health journey.

• Actively participate in school committees, contributing your expertise to influence policies and programs related to student well-being.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support, ensuring that students experiencing acute distress receive immediate care.

• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of all counseling sessions and interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional training to stay up-to-date with best practices in social work and educational psychology.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of challenges, including but not limited to emotional disturbances, social difficulties, and adjustment issues related to academic pressures. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
