Work Environment\n

As a therapist with Barnes Counseling Center, you will work remotely, engaging with clients via telehealth services. This setup not only promotes flexibility but also enhances access to mental health care for individuals in various locations. Our digital platform is equipped with secure and user-friendly technology, ensuring a seamless experience for both therapists and clients. You will have the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patients’ backgrounds and needs, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to provide effective, individualized care to clients of all ages.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared understanding among individuals facing similar challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them on their journey to recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and staying updated on best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population seeking support for various mental health conditions. You will engage with individuals, couples, and families, addressing a spectrum of issues from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral health challenges. As a therapist, you’ll be instrumental in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, ultimately fostering healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits\n
