Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Capital Strategy Mentors to provide strategic capital markets guidance, fundraising support, and operational mentorship to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.

This is not a traditional employment role . Capital Strategy Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Capital Strategy Mentors:

• Advise on capital strategy, fund formation, and deal structuring

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, strengthening execution quality and credibility

• Access curated deal flow, advisory opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of closing capital transactions or leading investment initiatives.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Capital Strategy Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling standards, diligence frameworks, and execution best practices

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Capital Strategy Mentors focus on high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation. They do not handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

Capital Strategy Mentors may be approved to support:

• Fund formation, capital raising strategy, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approvals are granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Capital Strategy Mentors operate as independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500 , based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

How Capital Strategy Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit a Capital Strategy Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Capital Strategy Mentors do not:

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside of approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All advisory work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentoring, and deal support.
