Key Responsibilities\n

• Employ a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and interventions to address emotional and behavioral disorders in clients.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, prioritizing each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions ensuring a supportive environment that fosters dialogue and trust.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation regarding the therapy sessions, treatments provided, and progress notes consistent with professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Avalon, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will be applied to develop personalized treatment plans, guiding clients through challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. You will play a critical role in facilitating therapy sessions that empower clients to envision and achieve their personal goals for mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• Active and valid state licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
