This role primarily offers remote telehealth sessions, ensuring that our clients can access support conveniently in the comfort of their own environments. Work Environment\n

The work setting is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Our telehealth model is designed to meet modern needs, enabling counselors to provide effective treatment to clients across Florida. Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, ensuring that we can accommodate different client schedules. We provide all necessary training on the telehealth systems and support through a dedicated scheduling and client service team to help you focus on what you do best—providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s history and unique needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and building resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Offer therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support individual healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their experiences and foster positive coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies related to trauma.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay informed about the latest developments, research, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our ideal candidates are behavioral health generalists who are open to working with diverse client populations, including couples and families. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.
