Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting intake assessments and formulating treatment plans for both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Providing evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to our diverse client population to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Utilizing the current DSM for accurate diagnoses and effective treatment goal-setting.

• Collaborating with primary care providers to address clients' mental health needs within a primary care setting.

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as required.

• Contributing to the development and implementation of community mental health initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor with Relationship Behavioral Health Services, you will work primarily with Veterans and individuals seeking mental health support related to various concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. A deep understanding and commitment to serving this unique population is paramount, as you will be providing guidance and care that addresses both acute and chronic mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant mental health-related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Evidence of successful internal credentialing within clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals facing substance abuse issues.

• Proficiency in assessment and diagnosis, as well as individual and group therapy methodologies.

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
