Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough crisis assessments for individuals experiencing immediate mental health emergencies to formulate rapid intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, emotional and psychological crises, trauma, and related challenges. Our clients often require immediate support and compassionate guidance through their toughest moments, making it crucial that you possess an understanding of the diverse backgrounds and experiences your clients bring. Your role will directly influence their ability to navigate recovery and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years of recent, relevant experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling, particularly in telehealth settings.

• Proficiency in evidence-based crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques.

• A strong foundation in ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health counseling.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients in distress.

• Cultural competency and a sensitivity to the diverse needs of clients facing mental health challenges.

• Additional training in trauma-informed care or other specialized areas within mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 annually. We provide a competitive compensation package along with an attractive sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
