What You'll Be Doing

• Execute both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testscovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional areasadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, identify and troubleshoot anomalies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Expectations

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification during your employment.
