Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a direct hire position with a Global Industrial Equipment Manufacturer located in Kent, OH.  Must be able to go on site 5 days a week. 
Salary range $50-58K depending on experience.  

This position is primarily responsible for providing technical assistance on computers and other Information Technology related peripherals, serving as the first point of contact for company employees. The role involves hands-on Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure within a multi-site Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Help Desk Support as the first point of contact for hardware, software, operating system, network, ERP, website, and application issues
• Manage IT Hardware, Software & Assets including maintenance, configuration, upgrades, and deployment of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Support Systems, User Accounts & Network Infrastructure, assisting with Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and LAN/WAN connectivity
• Support ERP & Business Systems Projects by documenting processes, assisting with upgrades and testing, and developing end-user training materials
• Manage Physical Access & Security Systems, including door access controls, badges, and key fobs
• Manage Telecommunications & Printing Infrastructure, administering the company VoIP/PBX phone system and enterprise printer/copier fleet
• Maintain Critical Facility IT-Related Systems such as the company generator and supporting infrastructure
• Coordinate IT Projects & Operational Activities by tracking milestones, deliverables, and timelines
• Manage IT Vendors & Service Providers, serving as the primary contact for upgrades, repairs, and maintenance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Knowledge of computer hardware, ERP systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
• Basic knowledge of servers, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL
• Ability to set up and configure PCs, printers, peripherals, and networking equipment
• Experience providing onsite and remote troubleshooting and technical support
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Pay range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
