Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs, utilizing instruments such as the DSM-5 to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide regular and timely interventions based on ongoing assessments, adapting strategies to align with anticipated patient outcomes and cultural competencies.

• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to formulate comprehensive treatment strategies and objectives that respect their needs and values.

• Educate and mentor interns, students, and volunteers, reinforcing a culture of learning within the organization.

• Coordinate with various healthcare professionals and referral agencies to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maryland.

• Proven expertise in outpatient mental health therapy, preferably within oncology settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including culturally sensitive practices.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer an attractive compensation package, with salaries ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
