Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be executed in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the high quality of care our clients deserve. As an LCSW with Resilient Journey Counseling, you will engage virtually with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams, utilizing technology to deliver assessments and interventions that align with individual needs. Key Responsibilities\n

The LCSW will play an integral role in the evaluation and support of young clients. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify their developmental needs.

• Collaborating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to the unique strengths and challenges of each child.
\n
• Monitoring client outcomes, making necessary adjustments to service plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

• Providing essential emotional and practical support to families, helping them navigate the complexities of their child’s development.
\n
• Adhering to all federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery.

• Establishing trusting relationships with children and families to foster a supportive learning environment.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and the Natural Learning Environment Principles to recommend strategies that promote optimal child development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or delays in development. You will be instrumental in helping families access services that foster growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during this critical early intervention period. Your contributions will enable children to reach significant milestones that lay the foundation for their future learning and success.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Active licensure as an LCSW by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license.
