Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either virtually or in the community, focusing on clients with serious mental health conditions.

• Develop and implement integrated care plans that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring their access to a range of community resources.

• Perform evidence-based screenings and assessments to evaluate client needs and treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.

• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary team members, family members, and external providers to create a comprehensive support network for clients.

• Participate in crisis intervention when needed, assessing risk and developing immediate response strategies that ensure client safety and well-being.

• Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate and timely records for all services rendered.

• Provide on-call coverage as needed, ensuring your clients have continuous access to support.

• Take part in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and contribute to programmatic growth within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse clientele who are navigating significant mental health challenges, including but not limited to major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other serious emotional disturbances. Many of our clients are from underserved backgrounds, which requires sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of the unique barriers they face in accessing mental health care. Your role will be pivotal in providing them with the empathy, skill, and resources necessary for recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW license in Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical social work role, particularly with vulnerable populations.

• Basic understanding of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies, along with strong crisis intervention skills.

• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with clients and team members alike.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and USD 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
