Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, developing strong, trusting relationships while upholding professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to evaluate client needs, establish treatment goals, and ensure personalized care plans.

• Facilitating weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions that empower clients to process their emotions, learn healthy coping mechanisms, and implement positive life changes.

• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring individualized, person-centered treatment plans, adjusting these as needed based on clients' progress.

• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to the client’s overall well-being.

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress notes that support clinical decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• An unrestricted, independent, current, and active License as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic skills.

• Proficiency and confidence in conducting intake assessments and providing direct psychotherapy services.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training or experience in trauma-informed care, group therapy, or family therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth platforms will also enhance your candidacy.
