Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with the required endorsements (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience developing and managing IEPs
• Strong skills in progress monitoring and data-driven instruction
• Background in implementing both inclusion and pull-out services
• Expertise in effectively collaborating with general education teachers and families to support diverse learners
• Recent experience in an elementary school setting is strongly preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs in elementary grades
• Collaboratively develop and implement Individualized Education Programs
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes, making instructional adjustments based on data insights
• Provide both inclusion and pull-out services based on student requirements
• Communicate regularly with families and general education staff to ensure a unified approach to student growth
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture for all students

The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) and runs through the 2026-27 academic year, starting as soon as possible and tentatively ending 5/26/2027.
