Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification, including all required endorsements
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Proficiency in progress monitoring and data-driven instructional strategies
• Expertise providing both inclusion and pull-out services
• Proven ability to collaborate with general education teachers and families to support student growth
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a projected elementary caseload, supporting students with varying needs
• Develop, write, and oversee IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Implement individualized and data-informed instructional plans
• Deliver both classroom-based inclusion support and pull-out interventions
• Monitor and document student progress, making instructional adjustments as necessary
• Champion communication among faculty, students, and families
• Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
