Key Details:

• Full-time, contract position (37.5 hours per week)
• Start as soon as possible and continue through late May 2027
• Service likely supports elementary-age students in a collaborative, inclusive environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold an active Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with current, appropriate endorsements
• Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Skilled in progress monitoring, collecting and using data to guide instruction
• Experienced in both inclusion classroom models and pull-out services
• Effective collaboration with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Past work in K-5 or elementary settings highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective IEPs aligned with student needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt instruction based on data and feedback
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture focused on each child's success
• Communicate consistently with families regarding student goals and achievements
• Work closely with general education teachers to ensure the best learning outcomes for all students
