Lab Technician

Lab Technician – Food & Beverage, Buffalo, NY Apex is seeking a Lab Technician for a Food & Beverage company in the Buffalo, NY area. Job #: 3037821 Responsibilities Microbiology & plating work. Pull samples and test inventory. Enter results into system. Print out Tank Status sheet and check temperatures of Tanks; report to supervisor if temperatures are off. Test raw blends as needed. Make corrections if necessary and retest. Record results. Print out batch tickets, weigh out vitamins as needed. Maintain vitamin log book as required. Finished product checking. Record results, recheck if necessary. Do shelf life checks as time permits. Record results and dispose of product. Autoclave equipment and make sure spore control is run weekly. Do swab testing for startup on fillers and vats as needed. Titrations. Prepare weekly whey composite samples for analysis. Plate samples and fill out paperwork and update file.
