This is an opportunity for licensed professionals, including Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), to engage in meaningful work that positively impacts individuals’ and families’ mental health journeys. As a full-time, remote member of our outpatient team based in Corvallis, Oregon, you will provide essential counseling services to diverse clients facing various mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients to promote holistic recovery and well-being, utilizing tools such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Provide crisis intervention to clients in acute distress, managing situations with professionalism and compassion while ensuring their safety.
\n
• Document client interactions and treatment progress with accuracy and confidentiality, adhering to state and federal regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and community resource specialists, to coordinate care for clients and ensure comprehensive support.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed about current trends, research, and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and families, facing varying mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your empathy and understanding will be crucial in building trust and rapport, as many clients may experience stigma around seeking help. Your ability to adopt a culturally competent approach will enhance your effectiveness in addressing the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure.

• Demonstrated experience providing counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, ideally in a remote format.

• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect effectively with diverse clients and foster a safe therapeutic environment.

• A commitment to cultural competence and providing affirming care to individuals from all backgrounds.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for documenting services and collaborating with team members.

• The ability to work independently with self-discipline while also being an effective team player in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with teletherapy and familiarity with virtual therapeutic tools can enhance your effectiveness in providing care. Additionally, familiarity with trauma-informed care and a track record of advocating for mental health awareness within the community would be highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
