Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical function, strength, and mobility through standardized assessments and clinical judgment.
• Employing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to establish precise treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Designing customized therapy programs aimed at restoring physical function, alleviating pain, and maximizing mobility.
• Utilizing a diverse array of treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educationally guiding patients and their families about injury prevention methods, rehabilitation processes, and effective home exercise strategies to support recovery.
• Collaborating with a network of healthcare professionals, including physicians, case managers, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and modifying treatment plans based on evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from post-operative orthopedic individuals to those dealing with sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and general rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to applicants who possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrable clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong connections with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
