Emergency Department Clinical Nurse

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Develops individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and advocates for patient needs, including psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual considerations. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical and emotional needs and communicates care plans across the continuum. Must work safely and maintain alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor’s preferred Licenses: Valid RN license Experience: No minimum required; less than 2 years preferred for higher education candidates Preferred: BSN degree and ER experience Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate patient conditions and needs Implement and document individualized care plans Educate patients and families on post-treatment care Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities Support a healing environment emphasizing safety and patient satisfaction #J-18808-Ljbffr
