Med Surg Clinical Nurse

Role Provides direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in accordance with standards. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the care team and patients. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural values. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; nursing diploma or associate's degree in nursing. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
