Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while still maintaining a cohesive team atmosphere. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in school mental health programs. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for professional development while supporting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a vital liaison between families, schools, and outpatient providers to facilitate communication and ensure comprehensive support for students.

• Engage with insurance companies to secure pre-certification and manage utilization, ensuring students receive necessary services in a timely manner.

• Participate in discharge planning and aftercare coordination to monitor and support students' transition back to school life.

• Provide therapeutic meal support to students, modeling healthy relationships with food and addressing any dietary behaviors contributing to their mental health.

• Deliver empathetic and affirming care tailored to each client's unique needs, considering their intersecting identities and cultural backgrounds.

Your primary focus will be on working with students from various backgrounds and their families, addressing mental health challenges, behavioral issues, and emotional disturbances. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• Proven experience working effectively with older adults and diverse populations in a clinical setting.
