Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop and implement a plan to achieve outcomes.
- Coordinate care delivery, promote patient safety and a healing environment, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; provide education and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and support team members in delivering safe, evidence-based care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California or state of assignment (current license required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- BSN preferred.
- Recent EPIC and Cerner systems experience; must be proficient in both.
- Ability to work night shift in a hospital setting as a travel nurse.
