Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions under the supervision of nursing staff, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to patient needs.

• Observe and document patient behaviors and responses, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and protocols set forth in their care plans.

• Orient patients and their caregivers to the treatment plan and provide necessary support to foster positive relationships.

• Assist patients with personal needs and prepare them for therapy sessions, assuring their comfort and readiness.

• Create and maintain thorough progress notes reflecting patient progress toward therapeutic goals, evaluating the efficacy of interventions.

• Actively advocate for necessary services for assigned patients, ensuring their access to holistic and integrated care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and supervision to refine clinical skills and enhance your therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active state-issued license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW); limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• At least 3 years of experience in mental health services, demonstrating familiarity with clinical and therapeutic practices.

• Strong capability to make evaluations and decisions regarding treatment planning, as well as an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing empathy and active listening to foster trust with clients.

• Proficient computer skills for documentation, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
