About the Investment Funds Practice Group

The Investment Funds Practice draws on deep experience and global reach to advise sophisticated fund sponsors and investors. We serve private capital managers, including established global private equity, asset management, and emerging managers in buyout, venture, and credit funds. We help clients form and structure private investment vehicles, navigate securities, tax, and regulatory aspects, and provide day‑to‑day compliance and corporate advice. We handle internal sponsor arrangements, co‑investments, fund operations, and related compliance matters.

About the Role

The Practice Group seeks highly qualified associates with a minimum of three years of experience in private investment fund formation and related operational matters to join our 4th‑through 6th‑year associate class. The associate advises fund sponsors worldwide on structuring, fundraising, and operational issues across a broad spectrum of asset classes.

Responsibilities

The associate will: handle all aspects of structuring and fundraising of private investment funds; advise on internal sponsor arrangements and co‑investments; manage fund operations; and address regulatory and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in private investment fund formation and operational matters.
• Ability to counsel fund sponsors globally and across diverse asset classes.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

Pay Range

Associate base salary ranges from $225,000 to $435,000, depending on year and location, with discretionary bonuses available.
