Work Environment

This role is based in our onsite rehabilitation center, where our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals collaborates to deliver exceptional patient care. You will work a standard schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, in a setting that fosters teamwork and ongoing professional development. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and resources to aid in effective treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.
• Manage a diverse caseload of patients, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and quality care throughout their treatment journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility and functionality, minimizing reliance on surgical options.
• Incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to support patients in achieving optimal results.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically using Web PT, to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Engage and motivate patients, fostering a positive therapeutic relationship that encourages adherence to treatment goals and promotes overall wellness.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy techniques to continually enhance personal practice and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on outpatient therapy for diverse populations, including athletes recovering from injuries, elderly individuals who require rehabilitation for mobility issues, and patients needing post-operative care. Our team takes pride in tailoring approaches to each patient's unique condition, ensuring that all interventions are aligned with the latest evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must hold an active New Jersey Physical Therapist license, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exemplary proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Strong documentation skills and experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current physical therapy practices and a commitment to ongoing education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a focus on sports rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs that lead to significant patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
