Work Environment

You will work onsite in a supportive atmosphere that prioritizes teamwork and patient care at a partner skilled nursing facility, conveniently located in Northern Virginia. Our facility is equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and resources, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to deliver exceptional care. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts available from 7 am to 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with the facility's multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of patient needs and goals.
• Providing education and support to family members and caregivers, emphasizing the importance of their involvement in the rehabilitation process.
• Conducting facility-wide educational sessions and in-services to enhance awareness of available therapy services and their benefits.
• Participating in weekly Care Plan Meetings to share insights and updates regarding patients' rehabilitation progress and treatment efficacy.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment interventions, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborating closely with supervising Physical Therapists to maximize therapeutic outcomes and adhere to best practices in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. You will work closely with patients of varying ages, from adolescents undergoing sports rehabilitation to geriatric patients requiring post-operative care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification demonstrating your commitment to safety and preparedness.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated healthcare team.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• A commitment to clinical excellence, quality, and the ethical practice of therapy.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred, we welcome new graduates and those eager to bring innovative approaches to rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
