Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate open discussions and guide clients in exploring their emotional experiences to foster self-awareness and personal growth.

• Advocate for clients' needs by assisting them in identifying and setting achievable mental health goals.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions primarily through secure video chat platforms, accommodating various schedules and preferences.

• Regularly assess clients' mental health status, employing recognized evaluation methods to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and needs.

• Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Participate in professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to enhance skills and knowledge related to mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily focus on serving a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing varying mental health challenges. Counselors will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other emotional or psychological difficulties. Cultural competence is essential, as you will be entrusted with providing inclusive and affirming care tailored to individual backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.
