Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work environment, allowing you to adapt your schedule to meet the needs of our clients effectively. While most work will be conducted virtually, you may need to conduct in-person assessments when necessary. Your primary schedule will fall from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as required by client needs. You will also be on-call to respond to urgent situations or provide additional support outside of regular hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs during intake and ongoing evaluations, considering emotional, mental, and social factors.

• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that address their specific goals and preferences, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

• Provide individual counseling and emotional support to help clients and their families navigate life transitions, challenges, and recovery milestones.

• Advocate for clients by identifying their rights and ensuring access to necessary community resources, social services, and programs that can support their recovery journey.

• Work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals such as nurses, physicians, and addiction specialists to coordinate care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Monitor clients' progress by conducting regular check-ins and home visits, assessing living conditions, and intervening as needed to address any safety concerns.

• Lead family meetings to facilitate open communication about the treatment process and to resolve any conflicts impacting the client’s recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about available resources, support groups, and community programs that help enhance social engagement and overall well-being.

• Ensure compliance with ethical standards by maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Engage in continuous learning about current social work practices, policies, and best practices in substance use treatment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
