Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Start date: 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,090–$2,184 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12) for 36 hours per week. The role is in an emergency department setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to ED patients, including rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders, with attention to safety and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other members of the ED team to support patient flow, patient advocacy, and timely disposition.
- Respond to emergencies, perform life-saving interventions within scope, and utilize appropriate ED protocols and equipment.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record, ensure infection control practices, and provide patient and family education as needed.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives, prioritize patient safety, and support continuous improvement in a high-demand environment.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred (1+ year commonly expected for travel ER roles)
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS and other certifications may be preferred
- Ability to work nights and 36 hours per week in a fast-paced setting
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Education: nursing degree from an accredited program (RN)
