Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position Overview Provides direct occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all legal and organizational standards. Qualifications Must be NBCOT certified (renewal optional), have an accredited degree in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT), and hold an active state license. New graduates are encouraged to apply. CPR certification is required upon hire and must be maintained. Key Responsibilities Develop, assess, and adjust patient treatment plans focused on activities of daily living. Establish, evaluate, and modify measurable, functional goals. Supervise and evaluate therapy assistants, aides, and students. Document patient progress accurately and timely using therapy software. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families. Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and legal regulations. Demonstrate good body mechanics, dependability, and excellent customer service. Skills & Attributes Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to make independent decisions, demonstrate good judgment, and work effectively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Physical ability to perform various movements during work hours and understand English language requirements.
