Job Description

A large telecom employer is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their team. This team is working on migrating a legacy .NET application to Java. The application is utilized by back office agents within the Field Operations group to appointment scheduling and review, forecasting, PTO, etc.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of technical experience in enterprise application development

Strong full-stack Java development (Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs)

Hands-on data analysis, production issue resolution at enterprise scale

Experience leveraging AI tools for development, code reviews, and automation

AWS cloud experience (EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, IAM, containerized deployments)

SQL Server, PostgreSQL database development and performance tuning

Kafka or event-driven messaging architecture

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment processes Monitoring/observability tools (AppDynamics, Splunk, DataDog)

Keycloak / SSO / identity management

Experience migrating .NET applications to Java/microservices

Experience with Broadband / Telecom Provider
