Key Responsibilities\n

• Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using standardized instruments and clinical interviews.

• Individualized Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Evidence-Based Interventions: Implement scientifically validated therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat clients effectively.

• Education & Support: Provide information and guidance to both clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

• Progress Tracking: Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and adjust treatment plans based on the evolving needs of the client.

• Collaborative Care: Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment that encompasses the full spectrum of the client’s care.

• Research & Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve outcomes.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records that adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Advocacy: Act as an advocate for clients to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and ensure they receive the necessary support and resources.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing significant life changes, individuals in crisis, and communities facing barriers such as homelessness, trauma, and domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Tennessee.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
