Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mood disorder symptoms, assessing their intensity, frequency, and duration to inform treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective mental health interventions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring responsiveness to changes in clients' conditions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care, adhering to a multidisciplinary approach to mental health.

• Remain current with the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders to continuously refine treatment methodologies and practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily comprise individuals affected by mood disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will work collaboratively with a broad spectrum of clients, fostering supportive therapeutic relationships to empower them through their challenges and guiding them toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
