Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct both in-person and remote counseling sessions tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, families, or groups, ensuring that each therapy experience is personalized and effective.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, adapting these methods to align with individual client needs and goals.

• Regularly review and stay updated with current research in mental health to incorporate applicable best practices and innovative treatment modalities into your sessions.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice as outlined by your professional licensing board and Hopeful Response Group.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including oncologists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive, coordinated care that addresses both psychological and physical health needs.

• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, trainings, and conferences to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed of emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on cancer patients navigating through various stages of their journey—from initial diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship. Additionally, you will provide crucial support to their caregivers, who often carry the emotional and psychological burdens associated with their loved one's health challenges. Understanding the unique psychosocial complexities of this population will be essential as you develop trust and rapport with your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington State.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience in counseling patients dealing with chronic illness, particularly cancer, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000, based on your caseload and experience.
