Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical tasks. These include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs and formulating personalized treatment plans.

• Providing evidence-based psychotherapy tailored for individuals presenting with complex issues, including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders.

• Conducting individual, family, or group therapy sessions to address both adult and teenage clients.

• Coordinating with inter-agency program providers to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment continuity.

• Preparing detailed discharge summaries that encapsulate client progress and therapeutic interventions.

• Maintaining clinical documentation, ensuring all records are submitted within 48 hours of service delivery, in compliance with EMR systems.

• Offering emergency support during after-hours as part of the on-call schedule.
\n
• Participating actively in scheduled programmatic meetings such as clinical supervision and team meetings to discuss ongoing cases and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily consist of a diverse range of clients, including both adults and adolescents. You will play a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and address their mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LICSW within the District of Columbia.
