Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Virtual Mental Health Counselor will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive intake diagnostic assessments to understand clients' mental health conditions, including techniques like GAINs, Locus, and crisis planning.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that address clients' specific issues and roadblocks, using evidence-based therapeutic models.

• Carrying out thorough assessments to identify the root causes of clients' problems, guiding them toward recovery through highly personalized therapeutic approaches.

• Providing ongoing therapy and support for clients, using techniques suited to managing substance abuse, intellectual disabilties, and a range of mental health challenges.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and APRNs, to ensure clients receive comprehensive care that may include further assessments or referrals.

• Documenting all interactions and treatment progress within electronic health record systems to maintain a thorough and accurate client history and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications\n
