Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct a blend of routine and specialized laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all laboratory processes, mentor new colleagues or students, and uphold quality standards within the lab environment.
• Ensure a clean, safe workplace while adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be attained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification throughout employment is expected.
