Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to evaluate clients’ mental health status and needs through telehealth platforms.

• Create personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to individual client goals.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that are both culturally responsive and clinically effective to help clients navigate their concerns.

• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring clients receive the support required to overcome challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient care and ensure referrals are made when specialized services are needed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal policies using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Pacific Bay Behavioral Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will employ a holistic approach to therapy, empowering clients to develop healthier coping mechanisms and fostering resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
\n
• Deep understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and ethical therapeutic practices.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to assess and respond calmly in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience delivering both individual and group therapy in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology effectively.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• Experience using electronic health record systems and maintaining meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
