Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments to determine client needs and tailor appropriate interventions.

• Developing and implementing individualized, client-centered treatment plans that address both mental health and psychosocial factors.

• Providing individual, couples, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, case managers, and community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Maintaining accurate, secure, and timely documentation in compliance with BBS and HIPAA regulations.

• Engaging in team meetings and peer consultation sessions to foster professional growth and collaborative care approaches.

• Staying informed on licensure renewal requirements and pursuing opportunities for continuing education to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals facing significant life transitions related to end-of-life issues, including clients experiencing terminal illnesses, emotional distress, and grief and loss. By applying a strengths-based approach, you will empower clients and their families to navigate complex emotional landscapes, enhancing their coping strategies during critical times.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited program.

• Deep knowledge of trauma-informed care principles, systems theory, and evidence-based practices in social work.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, along with a strong command of documentation processes and standards.

• Proficiency or a willingness to learn in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for client management.

Preferred Experience\n
